Outstanding + exceptional! We went on an expedition to Chopicalqui with Marco. Marco and his wife went out of their way to do whatever they could to make our trip enjoyable. Marco is an excellent guide on the mountain, he works internationally, he trains mountain guides himself and he has a strong focus on safety. He's probably one of the best guides you can get in Peru. But what mattered more to us was just getting to know him as a person and becoming friends. He is fun to be with, he has depth and he is a leader with the heart of a servant. He became my personal hero by "rescuing" my backpack that contained my camera and gigabytes of photo material from a huge crevasse. It was an honour to spend this time together and we hope to share another adventure some day. I couldn't recommend him more!

Awesome mountaineering experience!!! Marco is a great guide! His English is great, he is fun, he went out of his way to make sure we had a good experience, and he knows what he is doing. A friend and I did the one day mountaineering up a mountain and glacier. This experience was amazing. The views, the challenge, it was great. At one point my friend was scared and even began to cry when going down a rope. Marco was very supportive, encouraging, took his time, and my friend was fine. She felt accomplished and we all had fun. I absolutely recommend Marco.

Expedition to Ishinca Valley with the very best mountain guide you can imagine! We did a expedition to the ishinca valley including summits of urus and tocllaraju in june 2019. Marco is the best mountain guide in Cordillera Blanca you can imagine! We had always the best service, marco and his crew were always caring and most important safety first! I am definitely coming back for more! Thank you so much marco for the wonderful experience on the summit of tocllaraju and in the ishinca valley!

Wonderful trek huayhuash circuit We did the trek last september and it couldn t have been more perfect. Marco looked after us so well .Marco speaks fluently english as well as french. We were not as fit as we should have been but Marco was so patient and encouraging. He modified a bit the circuit to suit our capacities( especially mines haha) . The views were wonderful. It took us 12 days to complete the trek and at the end I was very proud of myself to have achieve something which I considered hard for me. The tents that Marco used for the trek were new and of very good quality. We were never cold in the sleeping bags. The team was made of the cook and horseman who were wonderful as well. We ate some amazing food , very tasty and always fresh. We even had expressos in the morning, amazing . Thank you Miguel for the wonderful meals. Those guys have a very difficult time organising everything but they always make sure they are smiling . 10 star trekking team. So basically I highly recomend Marco and high summit Peru. Any body who choose Marco will be in good hands and for sure will have the time of his life in total security. Marco specialise as well in climbing. He is a fully qualify mountain climber.

Kind of an amazing experience !⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We spend 6 nights and days with Marco and his team in the montains in order to climb Tocllaraju. Everything was perfect: -The team ( cook, donkey driver...) - food and hospitality ( hot water every day, such a lovely food...) - gears and materials, clean and really good quality - and last but not least, Marco was such a really good guide and personn. You feel really really safe with him, is has a lot of things to teach you perfectly and he really know the moutains as anybody! ( he even went to give a leasson of rappel down to another guide which didn’t have Mountaineering experience 😂) He always been in a really good mood even when we start to be tired .... Please, go with High summit Peru without any hesitation, There made our trip fantastic! Thanks again Marco and Edith!

Perfect Family Expedition Highly recommended! My wife and our 3 girls (ages 14, 13, & 11) recently completed the Santa Cruz trek and a successful climb of Pisco. The mountain scenery and the support we received from High Summit Peru were world class. Edith, Marco, and our guide Steven were helpful and reliable. Edith helped me organize the perfect trip. Everything from the transportation, the equipment (Mountain Hardwear tents), the staff, to the food were excellent. Steven was an incredible guide. Not only is he certified and highly competent, but he is also a very kind person. He loves the mountains. He patiently guided our team of amateur climbers on a successful expedition. He was able to clearly assess our capabilities and our health to ensure safety and to know how hard to push us during challenging moments. We hope to trek and climb with High Summit Peru again!

Professional, Attentive, Dedicated, Genuine Staff...Well Organized, Safety First, Attention to Detail We worked with Marco and Edith on a recent expedition climb of Alpamayo - included a trek through the Santa Cruz to get to Alpamayo base camp (for those interested in trekking the Santa Cruz only). I was amazed at the level of genuine attention and concern provided by both Edith and Marco and the team of experienced porters - including the mule drivers. The logistics and organization were exact - nothing was missing. They even provided us with up-to-date weather reporting via our sat phone. They made all the local arrangements - from pickup at the bus station, transfers to guest house, pre-climb acclimatization hikes, etc. Once on the climb the team of porters was outstanding - a solid trust was immediately formed. It was obvious the porter team was heavily and genuinely invested in our safety (health and overall physical), our goals, and comfort in order to acclimatize and be comfortable of rest days. The meals and snacks provided by the cook were awesome - we felt guilty by being on a major technical climb and eating so well - fresh, flavorful, great variety, timely, healthy, and filling meals. The porters anticipated all needs and were very attentive and accommodating of schedule changes. For those of you focusing on trekking only, the team provided a close knit camp environment on our 'trek' portion in the Santa Cruz valley. They had a dining tent, cook tent, and team tents for us. We met a family of five on our return down the Santa Cruz who had three children with them - as a parent I would suggest the logistics, food, and organization provided by Marco, Edith, and the porters was well aligned to support a family trek. Health and safety was paramount with he team - all water was safe, the porters nearly mandated the use of anti-bacterial hand santizers and provided them prior to each meal, all veggies and fruits were well washed by sanitized water, utensils/plates/cups were all well washed. No-one on our team got the 'tourista' during a 16 day trip!!! Amazing. Impressive team - I am ready to take my kids on a trip with them now!

Safe, Well organised, Exciting! When you are over 50 (or more) having a company that prides itself on safety and logistics is ideal. High Summit are a family owned combination which provides exemplary service. Our trip was amazing. I have climbed Pisco and been to the Himalayas twice but this beats them hands down. Extraordinary views, wonderful food (thank you Julio) and faultless planning made this a great experience. Hygiene a priority. Finally Marco and Edith will arrange ongoing tours to anywhere in Peru so should you want to explore Peru further, I am sure they will do a great job. Highly recommended.
