Climbing Mountain Mateo 5150m
5/5
Mountain Mateo (5,150m/16,896ft) is one of the peaks of the Contrahierbas mountain range in the Cordillera Blanca – Huascaran National Park. It is a relatively easy-to-climb summit, with an access by vehicle to the base of the moraine, and an ascent feasible in just one day. All mountaineering activities involve risks to be taken seriously, so we offer equipment, gears, and certified and experienced Mountain guides, to make this experience as safe as possible. The ascent to the glacier will take about 3-4h (depending on physical conditions). The path is rocky, with certain slopes that require a relatively good physical condition, and it will not be suitable for people suffering from Vertigo. .
